The Magicard PRIMA831 YMCK ribbons are great for printing full-color images and one-color text or barcodes. They consist of yellow, magenta, and cyan panels that combine to create a full spectrum of colors when heated to varying degrees. There is also a black resin panel, known as the K panel, which is typically used for printing text and barcodes.
 
It's important to note that if you are using a Magicard retransfer printer, you will need to use Magicard Retransfer Film. With this type of printer, the card image is printed onto the underside of the retransfer film, which is then applied to the surface of the card, sandwiching the image between the film and the card.
